Community guidelines

User content and behaviour - last updated: August 2026

These Community Guidelines govern everything you post or send on Fluffifi. They supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Notice. By creating an account and using Fluffifi you agree to them.

1. Zero-tolerance policy

By posting, sharing, sending, or uploading any content - including posts, reels and other video, photos, captions, comments, forum posts and replies, direct messages, pet and profile information, and marketplace or service listings (“User Content”) - you agree to these guidelines.

Fluffifi has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. Content that breaches these guidelines will be removed, and accounts that breach them may be suspended or permanently banned, without notice.

2. Prohibited content

You must not post, share, or transmit content that:

is unlawful, or promotes, facilitates, or instructs unlawful acts;
depicts, promotes, or facilitates animal cruelty, neglect, abuse, or illegal animal trade - Fluffifi is a pet-welfare platform and this is treated with the highest seriousness;
is hateful, harassing, bullying, threatening, or demeans or attacks people on the basis of any protected characteristic;
is sexually explicit or pornographic, or that sexualises, exploits, or endangers a minor in any way (see Child safety below - zero tolerance for CSAE/CSAM);
is violent, graphic, or gratuitously disturbing;
harasses, defames, or invades the privacy of any person, or shares someone else's private or identifying information without consent;
is fraudulent, deceptive, a scam, or spam;
infringes anyone's intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights;
impersonates any person or organisation, including Fluffifi staff;
contains malware or attempts to compromise the platform or other users;
offers anything illegal, or any prohibited animal, product, or service.

3. Child safety - zero tolerance for CSAE

Fluffifi has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This is an absolute prohibition that admits no exception.

You must never create, upload, post, share, send, request, solicit, or link to:

any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or any content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers a minor (a person under 18) in any way;
content that grooms, solicits, or attempts to engage a minor in sexual activity, or that facilitates, promotes, or normalises the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors.

Fluffifi's minimum age is 13, and the platform is not directed at children under 13.

How we act.Any account involved in CSAE or CSAM is permanently banned immediately and without notice. On obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM we remove it, preserve the information required by law, and report confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authority - in the UK the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) and/or the National Crime Agency's Child Exploitation and Online Protection command (NCA-CEOP), and to NCMEC or another regional authority where applicable - in accordance with applicable law.

How to report. If you encounter any content or behaviour that sexualises or endangers a child, report it immediately using the in-app report control on the content, message, or profile, or email our safety team at safety@fluffifi.co.uk. Reports of this nature are prioritised.

4. Expected behaviour

Treat other members, sellers, service providers, and their animals with respect.
Post accurate information in listings, reviews, and pet profiles.
Keep messages relevant and civil; do not send unsolicited bulk messages.
Honour the safety and welfare of any animal involved in a sale, service, or rehoming.

5. Reporting, blocking, and how we respond

Report:posts, comments, forum threads, messages, marketplace listings, pet profiles, events, shopping-channel videos, sellers, and any user can be reported from within the app. If you can't see a report option on something that breaks these guidelines, contact Support and we'll act on it.
Block: you can block any user, which stops them messaging or contacting you.
Filtering: uploaded photos are screened by automated moderation, and videos are screened across multiple frames sampled through the clip. Reported content is reviewed by our team.
Our response: we act on reports of objectionable content or abusive users within 24 hours - removing content and/or ejecting the user as appropriate.

6. Consequences

Breaching these guidelines may result in content removal, feature restrictions, suspension, or permanent removal of your account, depending on severity. Serious breaches - for example animal cruelty, or any child sexual abuse or exploitation - result in an immediate permanent ban and are reported to the relevant authorities.

7. Your responsibility

You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the right to submit it. Fluffifi may remove any content and act on any account at any time to keep the community safe.
