Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the Fluffifi platform operated by Fluffifi Ltd(“Fluffifi”, “we”, “us”, “our”) at www.fluffifi.co.uk.
By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. About Fluffifi
Fluffifi is a social and marketplace platform for pet owners, sellers, and service providers in the United Kingdom. We connect buyers and sellers of pet products, and pet owners with service providers such as groomers, vets, trainers, and walkers.
Fluffifi Ltd is registered in England and Wales. Our registered address and company number are available on request via legal@fluffifi.co.uk.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the platform.
- By using the platform, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into binding contracts.
- Accounts registered on behalf of businesses are subject to the same terms; the individual registering accepts personal responsibility for compliance.
3. Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when registering and keep your account details up to date.
- You must notify us immediately at support@fluffifi.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Platform Use
You may use Fluffifi for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Post, upload, or share content that is illegal, offensive, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or discriminatory.
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure.
- Transmit spam, malware, or any harmful code.
- Use the platform to facilitate illegal transactions, including the sale of prohibited goods or services.
5. Prohibited Content
The following content is strictly prohibited on Fluffifi:
- Content depicting animal cruelty, abuse, or neglect.
- Content that harasses, bullies, or threatens other users.
- Sexual or explicit content.
- Content that promotes hate speech based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or nationality.
- Listings for illegal goods or services, or goods restricted by UK law (e.g. certain medications, live animals traded without proper licensing).
- Fake reviews, reviews for transactions that did not occur, or review manipulation.
We reserve the right to remove prohibited content and take action against accounts responsible, including permanent suspension and reporting to the relevant authorities.
6. Seller Obligations
If you use Fluffifi as a seller or service provider, you additionally agree to:
- Complete our identity verification (KYC) process before listing products or services.
- Ensure all listings are accurate, not misleading, and comply with UK consumer protection law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008).
- Honour all orders and bookings placed in good faith.
- Resolve buyer disputes promptly and in good faith.
- Not charge buyers outside the Fluffifi platform to circumvent our fee structure.
- Maintain adequate insurance where providing in-person services.
- Comply with all applicable tax obligations, including VAT registration where required.
7. Buyer Obligations
- All purchases are subject to the individual seller's listing terms, return policy, and applicable UK consumer law.
- You must only use the platform to make genuine purchases.
- Chargebacks and payment disputes must be raised with Fluffifi support first before contacting your bank or card provider.
8. Subscriptions and Payments
- Some features require a paid subscription. Subscription details, pricing, and billing cycles are set out on our Plans page.
- Subscriptions are managed via Shopify Billing and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact billing@fluffifi.co.uk for billing queries.
- Marketplace transaction fees and service booking commissions are set out in our Seller Terms (available on request).
9. Intellectual Property
- All platform content, branding, design, software, and underlying code is owned by Fluffifi Ltd or our licensors and is protected by UK and international intellectual property law.
- You retain ownership of content you create and post on Fluffifi. By posting content, you grant Fluffifi a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content on the platform and in promotional materials.
- You represent that you have the rights to post all content you upload.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Fluffifi acts as a marketplace intermediary. We are not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers and are not liable for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of goods or services listed by third parties.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform.
- Our total liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the greater of £100 or the total fees paid by you to Fluffifi in that period.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Fluffifi, its officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your use of the platform, or your violation of any third-party rights.
12. Termination
- You may close your account at any time via your account settings or by contacting us.
- We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, or with 30 days' notice otherwise.
- Upon termination, your licence to use the platform ceases immediately. Pending transactions will be handled in accordance with our dispute resolution process.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
Before initiating legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at legal@fluffifi.co.ukto resolve disputes amicably. For consumer disputes, you may also use the UK's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
