Veterinary Terms

These Veterinary Terms (“Veterinary Terms”) govern your use of Fluffifi as a veterinary practice or professional, including listing in the veterinary directory and on the Map View, and, where you offer them, bookable veterinary services through the Service Hub. They supplement the General Terms & Conditions and, together with them, form the agreement between you and Fluffifi Ltd(company no. 15793565), registered office: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX (“Fluffifi”, “we”, “us”).
You must accept these Veterinary Terms when creating your veterinary profile and completing veterinary identity verification (KYC). If you do not accept, you may not list as a veterinary practice or offer veterinary services on the platform.
1. Eligibility and Registration
- You, or the practice you represent, must be registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). Veterinary surgeons must hold current MRCVS registration; veterinary nurses must be registered as RVNs. Practice premises must be registered under the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme where applicable.
- The person creating the profile must be a partner, director, employee, or otherwise authorised to act on the practice's behalf.
- You must complete our identity verification (KYC) process, including your RCVS registration details, before your veterinary listing goes live or you can receive bookings.
- You must keep your profile, registration, and clinic details (type - clinic, hospital, or mobile - location, opening hours, and services) accurate and up to date at all times. Material changes send your profile back for re-review.
2. Professional Standards
- You must comply with the RCVS Code of Professional Conduct for Veterinary Surgeons (or for Veterinary Nurses) and its supporting guidance at all times.
- You must only offer and provide services that fall within your registration, qualifications, and clinical competence.
- You are responsible for your own continuing professional development and for ensuring that any staff acting under your listing are appropriately qualified, registered, and supervised.
3. Listing and Accuracy
- Your practice name, RCVS registration, clinic type, location, opening hours, and the services you offer must be accurate, complete, and not misleading.
- You must not misrepresent your qualifications, your RCVS status, the scope of your services, or your emergency or out-of-hours availability.
- We reserve the right to remove or suspend any veterinary listing that we consider inappropriate, inaccurate, or in breach of these terms, without notice.
4. Clinical Responsibility
- You are solely and fully responsible for all clinical decisions, diagnoses, treatment, prescribing, and the care you provide. The veterinary-client-patient relationship is between you and the pet owner.
- Fluffifi is a listing, directory, and booking facility only. We do not provide veterinary care or advice and we are not a party to the relationship between you and the pet owner.
- You must keep clinical records in accordance with RCVS requirements. Fluffifi does not hold or manage clinical records on your behalf.
5. Fluffifi Content Is Not Veterinary Advice
- Fluffifi's general content, Knowledge Hub, pet-health features, and AI assistant provide general information only and are not a substitute for professional veterinary advice. They are not produced or endorsed by you, and you are not responsible for them.
- You must not direct pet owners to rely on any general Fluffifi content in place of a consultation. Where a pet may need urgent care, owners are directed to contact a veterinary practice directly; Fluffifi does not provide emergency triage.
6. Bookable Services (Service Hub)
- If you offer bookable veterinary appointments or services through the Service Hub, our Provider Terms also apply to those bookings, including the provisions on booking confirmation, cancellations and refunds, fees and commission, and insurance.
- Commission on completed bookings is charged as set out in the Provider Terms and is deducted at the point of payment via our payment processor (Shopify Payments).
7. Insurance
- You must hold and maintain professional indemnity insurance appropriate to veterinary practice, together with adequate public liability insurance for any in-person service.
- You must provide your insurance details (provider name, policy number, and expiry date) during your KYC verification. Failure to maintain valid insurance may result in your listing being suspended.
- Fluffifi is not a party to your insurance policy and does not cover your liability to pet owners or third parties.
8. Medicines and Animal Welfare
- You must comply with the Veterinary Medicines Regulations and only prescribe or supply veterinary medicinal products where a proper clinical assessment and relationship exists.
- You must comply with the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and all other applicable animal-welfare and veterinary legislation at all times.
9. Data Processing
In providing the veterinary listing and Service Hub features to you, Fluffifi processes personal data as set out in our Privacy Notice and Data Processing Agreement. By accepting these Veterinary Terms you also accept those documents.
10. Suspension and Termination
- We may suspend or remove your veterinary listing if you breach these Veterinary Terms, our General Terms & Conditions, the Provider Terms (where applicable), or any applicable law, or if your RCVS registration lapses, is suspended, or is removed.
- You may withdraw your veterinary profile at any time from your dashboard. Confirmed upcoming bookings must be honoured, or cancelled with a full refund where payment has been taken.
11. Liability
Fluffifi acts as a listing and booking intermediary. We are not a party to the veterinary care or the service contract between you and the pet owner. You are fully responsible for the veterinary services you provide, their compliance with UK law and RCVS standards, your insurance obligations, and any claims arising from pet owners or third parties.
You agree to indemnify and hold Fluffifi harmless from any claims, losses, fines, or expenses arising from your veterinary listing, the services you provide, your conduct on the platform, or your breach of these terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Veterinary Terms from time to time. We will give you at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email. Continued use of the veterinary features after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
