Delete your account

Account and data deletion for the Fluffifi app and website

You can permanently delete your Fluffifi account and personal data at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Delete from inside the app

This is the quickest way and works on the website and the mobile apps:

Sign in to Fluffifi.
Go to Account → Privacy & Data.
Under Delete my account, enter your password to confirm and select Delete my account.

Your account is closed straight away and you are signed out on all devices.

If you cannot sign in

If you have uninstalled the app or can no longer access your account, email us from the address on your account and we will verify your identity and action the deletion for you:

support@fluffifi.co.uk with the subject line “Account deletion request”. We respond within one calendar month, and usually much sooner.

What is deleted

Your profile, login details, and password.
Your pet profiles and photos.
Your posts, reels, comments, forum activity, and messages.
Your marketing and cookie preferences.
Your saved addresses and contact details.

What we are legally required to keep

Where the law requires us to retain certain records, we do not keep them against your name - we anonymise them so they can no longer identify you. This applies to:

Financial and tax records tied to marketplace sales, which we are required to retain for up to 6 years (UK tax and digital-platform reporting obligations, UK GDPR Article 17(3)(b)). The identifying parts of your account are scrubbed; only the figures needed for reporting remain.

Once these retention periods end, the anonymised records are no longer linked to any individual.
