Put your place on Fluffifi
For zoos, sanctuaries, wildlife parks, aquariums, nature reserves and farm parks. Share the animals you care for with people who love them.
Your animals, followed
Give each animal you keep its own profile. Members follow them, see their news in the feed and find out where to visit them.
Found by animal lovers
Your place gets its own page, and every animal page names the places where people can see it.
Vetted, and free
Every place on Fluffifi is checked before it goes live, so members know they are supporting good welfare. Listing a place costs nothing.
How it works
- 1
Create a member account
Places use an ordinary Fluffifi account, with the place features on top - so you can post, follow and message like everyone else.
- 2
Tell us about your place
Your name, what kind of place you are, where you are, and what entitles you to keep animals - with a photo or scan of the licence or certificate.
- 3
Verify who you are
The person running your account uploads photo ID and a short letter of authority on your headed paper. It takes about five minutes, and we never ask a place for bank details.
- 4
We review it
We check your accreditation and email you the decision. We aim to review applications within 2 working days.
What we check
A place needs at least one of these to be listed:
- A zoo licence under the Zoo Licensing Act 1981, from your council.
- Membership of BIAZA, the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
- Registration as a charity with an animal welfare or conservation purpose - the route for most sanctuaries.
- Management by a Wildlife Trust, the National Trust or Natural England.
- A council animal activity licence for keeping animals for exhibition - the route for most farm parks.
We also confirm the identity of the person applying. A place that loses its licence or membership comes off Fluffifi.
