How it works

    Apply

    Tell us about your practice: whether you are a clinic, a hospital or a mobile vet, your RCVS registration number and the vet responsible for it.

    Complete the identity check

    Upload proof of identity and your practice address, and add your insurance details. It takes about ten minutes.

  3. 3

    Wait for approval

    We check your RCVS registration against the register. We aim to review applications within 2 working days and email you the decision.

  4. 4

    You are verified

    Your practice goes live on the vet map with its verified badge, and you can keep your details up to date from your vet dashboard.

What we check

  • Your RCVS registration, against the RCVS "Find a Vet" register.
  • Your Veterinary Practice Premises (VPP) registration, where you store or supply veterinary medicines.
  • The identity of the person applying, and the practice address that goes on the map.
  • Your professional indemnity and public liability insurance details.

If you hold RCVS Practice Standards Scheme accreditation, you can add it during the identity check and it shows on your practice as an extra badge.
