How it works

    Create your charity profile

    Your name, mission, contact email and where you are based. It becomes your listing in the charity directory.

  2. 2

    Complete the identity check

    Your charity number and the identity and address of the person acting for the charity. It takes about ten minutes.

  3. 3

    We review it

    We check your charity against its register and email you the decision.

  4. 4

    You are live

    List animals, open wish-lists and join PawPledge from your charity dashboard, which also shows your adoption numbers and pets reported found or missing near you.

What we check

  • Your charity number, against the Charity Commission, OSCR or Charity Commission for Northern Ireland register.
  • The identity and address of the person acting for the charity.
  • A small unregistered charity can join too - tell us during the identity check and we review it by hand.

We only ask for a bank account when you join PawPledge, so your share can be paid to you.
